We can hardly believe that FABUFIT the blog, is already a year old! Wow, how time flies when you’re having fun. I am sure you’re wondering why I always say “we”, well, there are a few people that make this blog come alive. I don’t do it all on my own. I have an amazing photographer, Hemisha Bhana that is my official blog photographer, not to mention my Cape Town Photog, Tegan Smith and then my web developer James Julies, who is just so amazing and patient with me and my OCD tendencies!
We decided to celebrate in style and partnered up with Starbucks and Viva Gym to have some fit fun followed by a relaxing brunch with fitness professionals, industry friends, professional athletes and influencers.
But they were not the only brands who came on board for our birthday – we also, had our friends at Red Bull, VivaCoco Water, BIOGEN Supplements, Generosity Water and Sandton Beauty Clinic help fill our goodie bags! Our guests were smiling from ear to ear!
The day started with us doing a fun 30 minute circuit workout led by yours truly at VIVA Gym. What a great place to workout! I managed to get people’s hearts racing, which was a great start to the day! I was so chuffed to have the fitness professionals, influencers and even an Rio Olympic athlete and Sportswoman of the year Alyssa Conley there who attended with her sister, Simone Conley, Biokineticist to the Under 23 football national side and Nike NTC Trainer.
Once we had got our sweat on, it was off to Starbucks Rosebank for some coffees and brunch.
It is honestly a great place to hangout, the service is excellent and well, I don’t think I need to even mention how great the beverages are!
What a great year of HAPPY, HEALTHY, FABULOUS fun sharing my passion with you!
